Hi everyone,

I hope you are enjoying your holidays!  Riley and I just got home from our road trip and are tidying up the loose ends on this thread.   I'm hoping to send this letter on Monday to Lennar. We currently need 5 more signatures to hit our 51%.  If you'd like to be added to our letter, please fill out this form ASAP.  

We will also be knocking on some doors to get the remaining signatures for the homes we don't have email addresses for.

On Monday evening a group of owners met to discuss the next steps in response to the letter that Via sent on Dec. 5th about the BBQ.

For some of us, this bbq issue isn't really about the barbecue. It's about the unkept promises and solutions that never come.  For others, we were sold a lifestyle that included a barbecue on the rooftop, and this solution ultimately decreases the value of living here.

We've summarized the discussion and our next steps in this letter to the Lennar executives.   

• Ultimately, $200 per unit is an extremely low offer and we'd like for them to put together a true assessment of the cost. 
• Instead of splitting it up amongst the homeowners, we'd also like for them to go through the HOA to disseminate the money back to the Merchant for our community room.

We are hoping to get 51+% of homeowners to sign this letter in support of our request.  If you are interested in being added to the letter, please fill out this form before 12/26, as we'll be sending the email on 12/27.
