Hey neighbors,
Last night was a Master HOA meeting where on the agenda was an update from Five Point. However Five Point did not sent a representative since in case you had not heard Phillip left them about a month ago. They are a large organization so could have sent somebody if they wanted but choose not to. Most of the topics brought up dealt with them so the owners present could not get answer to issues such as; Shuttle issues, Security and the new camera, the news report from channel 11 about possible more cover-ups of land transferred not being properly cleaned of radiation. (This is not on Parcel A where we all live but next to it down the hill closer to the water) along with other items. So Monica from the Olympia building posted on the FB group the following 3 emails to send to them to let know they can not ignore us. The thinking is inundate them with emails which is why you are being asked to send each item in a separate email today if possible so they hear we are not happy with being ignored. You are welcome to copy and past or modify as you see fit.

Message from Monica -----
Dear Shipyard Residents,
I have several actions for you all. Oh no, not homework-- yes, indeed, I have an e-mail assignment that I have written for your convenience.
Ready? Here you go:
E-mail: operations@thesfshipyard.com
3 separate times with the following messages. Please comment to this message after you have sent your e-mails so that I can informally track how many residents have sent in their suggestions/complaints.
Best,
Mónica @ 563 Donahue
[Shuttle]
To Whom it May Concern:I am writing to demand a response to the following issues currently affecting residents who take the shuttle:
*With the increase in residents, demand has surpassed supply of seats on the shuttle. There is a need to upsize shuttles. This lack of space impacts both morning and evening commutes.
*Use of large vans for weekend routes is wasteful. There is a need to decrease size of shuttles on the weekend.
*Grocery routes do not support local community or grocery-chains alternatives. There is a need to add Duc Loi Grocery (Bayview retailer) and Rainbow Grocery (Co-Op) to the grocery route.
*Shuttles are generally wasteful. There is a need to open up the possibility to take shuttles on both inbound and outbound routes.
*Rush hour traffic does not affect later shuttle commutes. Consider adding back Steuart and Market stop for 7pm & 7:30pm times.Sincerely,
__________

To Whom it May Concern:
Given the many safety issues that have affected residents of the Shipyard, I am writing to request that you increase your communications to addressing the following issues:
*Drive-by shooting on Donahue
*Latest report by NBC
*Any other "works-in-progress" (eg. security contract)Many of the complaints residents have stem from miscommunication. Please help us by communicating with us more frequently. I am hereby requesting that Five-Point send out more community updates in order to ensure transparency here at the Shipyard.
Sincerely,
__________
Resident at __________[Communication Representative at Master]
To Whom it May Concern:As a resident of the Shipyard, I am concerned at the lack of representation by Five-Point at the quarterly Master association meetings. During the open homeowner forums, it is clear that most issues brought up by residents deal directly with domains headed by Five-Point.
I am hereby requesting that a Five-Point representative be in attendance at each quarterly association meeting in order to ensure transparency here at the Shipyard.
Sincerely,
__________
