Although not ideal, a little walk for a bigger space and spectacular view, we could always use the viewing deck out by the field by the welcome center. The space is plenty for our large group and give us a chance to make the other buildings envy how fantastic we all are at the merchant... Just saying :)

This will be my first official wine night and I have already begun to make sangriacicles...

I went up to the roof this morning before getting on the shuttle and the main large section is completely boarded off from us.  I happen to run into Via on the roof when I went up and he only said that they were fixing some wood panels and maybe back open this weekend.  I have since send an email to Natalie and Jillian asking what is up, see email below.

So for our normal wine on the roof seems to be closed so what do people want to do?  We could squeeze the smaller middle section but if the crowds who have come in the past arrive it will not really fit us all.  Hate to actually cancel it so ideas would be great.

What is going on with our rooftop deck?  It would appear that large deck section is completed blocked off.  I am assuming Lennar did this as part of its process to get this in good shape for a handover which I am fine with but do have some issues and questions on this.  Did they tell you they were doing this?  How long will the section be closed off?  It is important that those living in the building be made aware of when things like this occur.  People may be planning on using the deck for various activities and may not be aware that for some unknown time they should not plan to use the roof and make alternate plans.  Please advise me and the rest of the homeowners what is occurring with this.

I was on the roof deck briefly tonight. Most of it is inaccessible because of some construction project. Not sure what they are doing.

Subject: No more Wine on the Roof Thursdays.

 

Yep you heard that correct given the current state of the roof, Wine on the Roof Thursday will no longer be happening.  I know how disappointed this may be but I think I have an idea that some will hopefully find to be a good substitution.... BARBECUE and Wine on the Roof Thursday.  Yep the BBQ on the roof seems to be able to heat your grill-able so who needs just wine when you can now eat something delicious with it.  So you no longer need to say good bye early because you got something cooking in the oven; you no longer need to arrive late because you need to eat before coming up; and you no longer need to order a pizza after leaving the roof and then fall asleep before it arrives to wake up and realize the delivery person called you like 14 times but you sleep through it now you are even more hungry because you can bring something to cook on the BBQ and enjoy the view and your neighbors.  

Remember this is a BYOB and BYOGF (Bring Your Own Grill-able Food) event so plan ahead.

Finally the google doc was originally meant to deal with homeowner related issues but since it is now also used for other matters I have a column where renters emails can be added so when we do things like BARBECUE and Wine on the Roof Thursday we can invite them as well. So if you are an owner with a renter or if your neighbor is renter can you either add them to the google doc or if you give me the unit # and email I will add them to the google doc.
