This is extremely concerning for everyone in the building, but especially those of us who live in the second floor units with courtyard access. I work from home and now my head darts out my window every single time I hear the click of the gate opening outside from Friedell. I was the one who saw the three teens in hoodies enter the complex through that gate on Monday and called the cops. I've been monitoring the courtyard like a hawk ever since, but as I'm sure you can all attest this past week, it's not fun having to be "on guard" in your own home. 

Key access to hallways and the parking garage would definitely help this problem immediately. As for the long term, I've sent an email to Jillian saying that the height of the back gate is a huge design flaw for this building and needs to be heightened as soon as possible. It's laughable how easy it is to climb over that fence and into our courtyard.

Thanks to everyone keeping the group updated. I'll do the same.

Afternoon neighbors! Wanted to keep everyone in the loop. While walking hazel and blue, I saw a construction worker walking down the steps from the unit on the friedell side of the building. I assumed he was working on the concrete landing as other workers were mixing concrete in fron of the building but with the recent break-ins, I asked what we was doing and he said he was looking for his boss.

As I was walking down the hallway, hazel started to bark before I entered my unit, and as I opened the door, the same construction worker was now on my patio, and quickly walked/ran away as I entered my unit. I contacted AXIS construction and spoke with the on-site foreman and the project manager for the Shipyard and said I want him removed from this project and if I see him back on property, I will contact the proper authorities. As the employee was on site working on the rooftop grill, he had NO businese on either properties I found him!

The worker's name is Antonio, I know unless they are wearing, Hello my name is..

Nametags, it won't be too helpful but if you hear or have a run in with an Antonio from AXIS construction let me know immediately. 

I am here every day, and will do my best to be on daytime patrol.

Subject: Thursday Night Roof Top

Hey Merchant Neighbors,

We have all had a tough week with the issues around people coming into the building doing damage to personal property and taking things.   AAt least for me one thing that has keep me going through all of this is the great neighbors that I have here in the building. We have rallied together to support and help each other out where we can. I know rain in in the forecast for Wednesday night into Thursday morning but that should clear out by the afternoon be mostly sunny. So I think this week calls for a Wine on the Roof Top Thursday night. (Wine not required to join, bring your favorite thing to drink.)

Come join your neighbors and put faces to all the emails you have been getting. I will likely go up 6:45-7pm time frame to be there in time to watch the sunset. It is San Francisco so dress in layers.
